Midlands Air Ambulance

Midlands Air Ambulance - Funded by people just like you...

Accidents will always happen, so it is reassuring to know that across the Midlands and Welsh border region there is and Air Ambulance service available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, just in case.

They receive NO Government or NO National Lottery funding - in fact NO public money at all. The Charity needs to fundraise £5.6 million each year to support the work of the helicopter service. This is why so many people generously fundraise for the Midlands Air Ambulance and why we want to help to support them.

The Charity operates three Air Ambulances, covering a geographically area of 6,000 square miles across six Midland counties. Midlands Air Ambulance carries out approximately 3,500 missions each year and has completed in excess of 30,000 life saving missions since it commenced in 1991.

Primrose Hospice and Cancer Centre

Helping Local People Life with Cancer

Primrose Hospice and Cancer Help Centre is an independent charity, offering advice and support to cancer patients and their families in the North Worcestershire area.

Supporting patients in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Rubery, Studley, Wythall and the surrounding areas Primrose Hospice also contribute to palliative care for in-patients at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove - (known as ‘Primrose at the Princess'), in partnership with Worcestershire Primary Care Trust.

As an independent charity, Primrose Hospice makes no charge for its services. They rely on donations and fundraising events by individuals and businesses in order to maintain and develop our high standards of care. The Hospice could not function without our dedicated team of volunteers, who offer their time in a variety of areas.

With such a valuable contribution to local communities it is crucial this charity receives donations to continue, which is why we have chosen such a fantastic charity to receive contributions you help to raise at our Creative Crafts day.
