Hints and Tips
With Calligraphy comes practice. Invest in the A to ZIG Calligraphy Book, which enables to learn how to write and hold the
pen correctly. For this project, you must hold then pen at a 45 degree angle.
Monochromatic
The Monochromatic colour scheme uses a variation of hues of a single colour. This scheme looks clean and elegant - the
monochromatic theory allow colours to work well together, which produces a soothing effect.
Blue was taken from the father’s shirt and with brown being a tone that can be added to any colour theory, this was ideal
to act as the ice cream seeing as the flavour in the photograph is chocolate!
